TERMS OF SERVICE

By commissioning or purchasing  from me, you are automatically agreeing that you have read and accepted the terms of service.

​Please take the time to read this information carefully as I will not be held responsible for any misunderstanding of these terms.

Preparing to commission a fursuit

  • You must be 18 years of age or older to commission me. I will very rarely make special exceptions. This excludes premades or other items on my online store.

  • You must have a detailed, high-quality reference sheet of your character for your quote application. This must include at least a front view and back view of your character, but an additional side view is preferred.

  • Reference sheets must be digital and in a readable file format (such as .jpeg or .png format)

  • If you would like an artistic liberty commission, please state so in your commission application or contact me first for a proper quote.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Applying for a commission

Payment and refunds for custom commissions

  • Proper quote applications are to be made through my commission form which gets publically released once my commissions are open. The form will stay open for around a week.

  • By filling out the commission form, you are officially applying for a commission and must be prepared in the case that you are selected.

  • Applying for a commission through my official form does not guarantee a slot in my queue.

  • You can use the quote calculator on my website for a relatively accurate estimate of your commission cost. The quote calculator is separate from my commission application but gives you a rough idea of how much you should expect to pay.

  • You may email me or contact me through social media for a free quote, where I can give you the exact quote of how much your commission would cost. 

  • Recieving a custom quote from me is NOT necessary to apply for a commission slot.

  • Recieving a custom quote from me does NOT guarantee a slot, nor is it a commission application. 

  • The quote calculator is separate from my commission application and is simply an estimation of the total cost.

  • I have the right to turn down or accept any application due to a variety of factors such as what I'd like to make, availability and accessibility of materials, and design of your character.

  • I will not take NSFW commissions. Do not ask, or you will be blacklisted. 

  • I have the right to ask for ID or proof of age preceding any custom commissions. This does not apply to the purchase of any premade or digital product I may sell. Refusal or failure to provide sufficient evidence of your age in this instance may result in the cancellation of the commission or blacklisting for future commissions. ​

  • All quote estimates are in Australian Dollars (AUD$)

  • All payments are to be made only in Australian Dollars (AUD$), via bank transfer or invoice.

  • Domestic customers may use PayID or Osko.

  • Paypal can be used if no other circumstances are applicable.

  • You may use my quote calculator to get a relatively accurate idea of your commission cost. Upon emailing me for a proper quote you are applying for a commission and should hence be prepared if I contact you about taking on your commission.

  • You must pay a 30% deposit of the total quoted price before any type of fursuit commission is to be started. If I have accepted your commission but not received the 30% deposit within one week, your commission may be rejected completely. Please be prepared to pay the deposit when applying in the case that your commission gets accepted.

  • Unless requested before starting on your commission with materials not yet purchased (and within reason of the client) the 30% deposit is non-refundable. If I have already purchased materials for the commission, there are no refunds for the deposit.

  • If you have paid in full, 30% of the payment is also non-refundable unless requested before materials have been purchased.

  • If you must cancel your commission during the making process for whatever reason, refunds will vary and are up to my discretion depending on the circumstances and how much progress has already been made. Refund will likely be quite limited at this stage.

  • You must have an appropriate and significant reason if you cancel a commission or you will be blacklisted from commissioning me in the future.

  • If your commission is worth over $500 AUD and paid in full, you will receive a 5% discount off the estimated quote. This does not apply to small parts under $500.

  • If you are only commissioning small parts under $500 (hands, tail, etc) payment plans may not be applicable but vary from product to product.

  • I will accept payment plans up to three months however longer payment plans may only be applicable with a higher item cost depending on the circumstances. The duration and amount of installments is up to you.

  • I have the right to prioritise applications or commissions in my queue for clients who are able to pay in full.

  • After I have received at least 30% of the total cost, I will start the commission process. Payments will still be due as per the payment plan we have agreed on until paid in full. I will provide an estimated completion date accordingly. 

  • You can have up to one late payment before this may affect the completion time of your commission. One missed payment (over 7 days) and I will stop work on your commission until payment is received. Prolonged failure of payment may have your commission cancelled and/or partially refunded, with the deposit itself being non-refundable.

  • If you consistently have late or missed payments or behave disrespectfully this may result in blacklisting from future commissions and cancellation of your commission. I have the right to refuse working with anyone who is rude, fails to communicate adequately or makes me uncomfortable, before or during a commission. Necessary refunds will be made accordingly. 

  • If you need your commission completed by a certain time, deadline fees may apply and can be discussed. I may refuse deadlines that are not appropriate for my capabilities.

  • In the event that a commission must be cancelled as a result of my own personal reasons (e.g. life circumstances, injury) you will be fully refunded any whatever you have paid apart from the non-refundable deposit. 

  • I am able to keep and modify commissions to make them salable under the circumstance that a commission has to be cancelled or refunded, whether this is due to the missed payments or unforeseeable personal events outlined.

  • Refunds do not include any transaction fees that may apply.

  • You will be notified of any transaction fees that may be involved during a purchase or a commission if you will be makign payments via bank transfer or invoice (Can range from 1.5-3% for international customers)​​

  • Such rules do not apply to deposits or full payments on premade items. You have the ability to receive a full refund on these items if they have not already been shipped. However, without an appropriate reason you may be blacklisted from future purchases or commissions.​

Moral of the story, please strive to make your payments on time and majority of these statements won't apply to you.

During the commission process

  • I will strive to regularly update you with work in progress pictures through private communication after I have started the commission, but please be patient.

  • Please notify me of anything specific you may want in your commission that may not be clear on the reference sheet. Please remain sensible. (E.g. similar shape to another head made by me, longer fur in a particular area, larger eyes)

  • I will be happy to make any changes that are appropriate to the reference sheet given. This especially goes for any mistakes I have made. Please point out anything you want changed or done differently as I may be unable to change them later on unless it is a significant mistake on my behalf. Please avoid requesting major changes you would like that would affect what I have already done without discussing first before I have started on your commission.

  • Please remember I am a human and cannot make extremely technical changes. I will still strive to do my very best to meet your needs. 

  • If you have not noted an additional feature in your quote this may incur additional charges. 

  • I retain the right to post work in progress images on any of my public business pages on social media.

Rights of use for myself and the client

  • I retain full copyright for any work I produce.

  • I am able to use images from commissions or anything I create for business purposes, such as posting on social media or examples of my work

  • Custom commissions are intended for personal use only. This means you cannot use my work for commercial use whatsoever.

  • You are prohibited from using my work for NFTs, crypto, or other forms of monetary gain. This may exclude cases of individual content creation such as YouTube or TIkTok videos.

  • Commercial use will incur additional fees to buy rights to my work. You must notify me as soon as possible before starting work. I have the right to refuse making something intended for commercial use. If you buy the rights for commercial use you may use commission for any monetary gain or business purposes. 

  • Unauthorized reproduction, duplication, or replication of any finished or work-in-progress (WIP) images for resale or profit from the commission is strictly prohibited unless a commercial fee is paid. You can only sell the product for more than the paid price if it comes with other parts that I have not made and consequently increase its value.

Shipping

  • Shipping costs are not included in the given quote. 

  • The client is responsible for any shipping fees of physical products unless otherwise stated on the listing of a premade product. 

  • The client is responsible for the consideration and payment of postal insurance or express post. 

  • All products are generally shipped with Australia Post. If you have objection to this, please notify me. If we decide to use a different courier you must cover all fees as per usual.

  • I am no longer responsible for any of my products after it is handed over to the courier. I take no responsibility for lost, damaged or delayed shipments however I will try my best to sort out any of these situations with the client and will appropriately package the product/s.

  • Con pickups are generally not offered but feel free to ask. Local pickups may be available but again please discuss this with me. 

Repairs

  • A repair warranty is offered for six months on custom commissions over $500 aud. This only covers instances that directly affect usability. This does not include small seams or small mistakes such as hot glue marks. Please contact me first with information and photos so we can discuss the problem first.

  • The client is responsible for covering any shipping costs associated with repairs. This includes the optional insurance and express post. 

  • Warranty does not cover any damage or loss of the product by the courier or shipping company. The same shipping guidelines apply when sending the product to and back (see shipping section above) 

  • Items submitted for repairs must be clean, odor free, and not have any alterations made. If any alterations have been made the warranty will be voided and the product will be sent back. This does not include normal maintenance/repairs done by yourself or another person but please notify me first. 

  • If you use the product in a way that is not for its intended use (worn sensibly as a costume), your warranty will also be voided.

  • Alterations made without permission may result in blacklisting 

Privacy policy

  • When you utilize our services or make a purchase from my store, your data (including name, contact details, and shipping address) is securely stored on a password protected computer for private use only

  • Any details that I collect about you are only for the purpose of contacting you regarding your commission or purchase.

  • Your personal details will not be shared, sold, or traded to any third parties. Exceptions to this include situations where sharing is:

  • Requested by the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) to verify payment records and business income

Disclaimers

  • I bear no responsibility for any injury or harm resulting from the use or play of any product received from me. They are only intended to be safely used as costumes, plushies or household items.

  • I am not accountable for ill-fitting costumes, accessories, or any items incorrectly sized due to inaccurate measurements, recommendations, or improperly constructed DTDs provided by you, the customer.

  • My work is completely handmade. There may be imperfections and errors. I will try my best to ensure the product is as professional as possible. My work is not perfect however this should not impact the ability to use the product for the intended purpose. Please be understanding of this.
